On Press: Making Visible an Unseen Detroit

The Eastern Market Letter Press Signal Return is a Detroit nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and teaching traditional letterpress printing. Director Lynne Avedenka, paired artists with different local nonprofit organizations to create limited edition letterpress prints. The project was designed to support local artists, local service organizations and the local arts economy.
