DescriptionBorn in Detroit in 1956, Kurt Novak was a part of the second-generation Cass Corridor artists. Novak is known for his sculptures, paintings, and installations that utilize industrial material and depict various animals, people, places, and things. Porcupine is a prime example of Novak's smaller works and of the Cass Corridor style. Novak studied at Wayne State University and currently lives and works in New York.
