DescriptionCreated while the artist was in graduate school at WSU, this small sculpture is one of a series inspired by industrial shapes. Stanley Dolega was a member of the Cass Corridor community, a closely-knit group that produced many significant poets, musicians and artists from the late 1960’s to the 1980’s in Detroit. These artists forged a gritty form of expressionism out of the themes and materials provided by the inner city.
