DescriptionSawankhalok kilns, stoneware with finely crackled olive green glaze and incised designs of concentric bands at shoulder and neck, with crosshatched pattern on surface above and below shoulder band. Elegant shape with broad everted rim, unglazed lower portion of the body of vessel, unglazed foot and base.

Large area of damage to the lip, repaired with gold foil.
