Description"96 Tears/Don’t Take the Train Coming Down the Track (circa 1978) Was made from a wooden tomato stake abandoned in Michael Luch’s garden on 4th Street. The crisscross shapes that I call "tracks" were cut with a jeweler’s saw using hardware store yardsticks. Some of the red staining is from shoe polish. It was a kind of vessel to move what I was feeling out and away from me. " Mary Preston 5-18-22Collections
