dead mes in the graveyard. tiny little coffins. we
had to think of names for them. It was a mistake.
Names have histories attached to them. We buried
them. The names carved above them. taken out of
the service of the living, given blankness.
I would not go into the delivery room again. to be
delivered of corpses. to have them wrapped up and
then taken from me so that I would never see them.
Did you see them? I asked him. The first me,
the second, the third? Did you see any of them?
