DescriptionLetterpress printed poem by David Gitin, titled "SCRIMSHAW"

SCRIMSHAW
we are what surrounds us
a swallow of what?
straining to know
blinded by sweat the salt
shared with the edge
of ocean the moon frozen like some giant
turtle barest form
watery cell of speech
-Cage says we take things apart, get rid of the glue, put 'em
back together it is not always
diffucult Maria waited
dinner while I drove fifty miles
steering with my thumb
