PASSAGE

she sleeps in the red cat's fur
she gathers the leaves of the woodchuck
she is always here
she batters the wall of the tulip
she grows hair
she winters at the well bottom
she causes the sun and moon
she rises and the clock strikes
she says the word death
she weeps in the tears of the cabbage
